When we were preparing for my second solo exhibition, Metamorphosis, in the Northwestern Projects and the Charles M. Bair Family galleries at the Yellowstone Art Museum, we needed to envision what paintings would best be featured on the walls. In order to do this, we created virtual mockups from photographs of the galleries, where we were able to scale and situate the prospective pieces. With the help of the staff at the Yellowstone Art Museum, our small team was able to put together what would be the final selection of featured work. In total, over 160 drafts were created for over 15 angles throughout the upstairs floor of the museum.
