EVENT POSTPONED - STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES
What is Grassroots Environmental Education?
Grassroots Environmental Education is an environment and health non-profit based located in Port Washington, NY and in Rye, NY.
Our mission is to inform the public about health risks associated with common environmental exposures and use science-driven arguments to craft more protective environmental policies on the local, state, and federal levels.
The funds raised from this event will support our wireless radiation awareness campaign (Americans for Responsible Technology) designed to address property value concerns, science-based health concerns, and cybersecurity concerns associated with the rapid rollout of 5G technology across the country.
Who is Zoe Allyn?
Zoe (Allyn) Berg is a 22-year-old Pop/R&B vocalist and singer/songwriter from Westchester, NY. Beginning at age 7, Zoe enrolled at Hoff Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale, NY where she studied classical piano, classical composition, music theory, and voice.
After a dynamic 10 years at Hoff Barthelson and performing as an alto vocalist with the New York State School Music Association, Zoe graduated from Scarsdale High School and pivoted to writing original Pop music. Always fascinated by poetry, Zoe felt that songwriting supplied the perfect platform for her to fulfill both her passion for words and music.
Soon after her 2015 debut as a singer/songwriter, Ms. Allyn was named winner of the 2016 and 2017 GrammyU songwriting critique master class and was asked to perform at the Bitter End and other acclaimed venues throughout New York City.
Zoe recently graduated from Barnard College as an environmental policy major and currently works as Project Development Coordinator for Grassroots Environmental Education. As her portfolio of original music continues to expand, Zoe hopes that her music will continue to inspire important conversations that may not have otherwise started, and help bring perfect strangers closer together.
