Jill Krutick Fine Art Gallery together with SHIM Art Network is delighted to announce the opening of “Exquisite Corpse” on Artsy following its exhibition in Venice at Spazio Gallery and Jill Krutick Fine Art in Mamaroneck, New York. The New York gallery featured over 150 artists from around the world who have participated in SHIM-sponsored collaborative exquisite corpse projects. Each construction involved 40 pieces of uniquely-made artwork that visually connected to create a larger body of work. The theme pulls inspiration from how an ecosystem functions: fundamentally individualistic yet synchronous as a whole. This online show features the SHIM/ArtCard artists.

SHIM/ArtCard is an exhibition group dedicated to high quality, affordable, small works easily shipped around the world. The goal is to simplify the process of showcasing artwork for both emerging and established artists. To have an exhibition that can literally fit in a lunchbox opens up a world of possibilities. And that is exactly what we aim to accomplish – a world stage for artists. By “meeting” a large pool of talented artists, collectors and curators can easily explore and buy work. Exhibitions will be held online and selective in-person locations. Collaborations among artists make for an even richer experience for all. This mission fits in the SHIM ECO world – a collection of exhibition groups dedicated to raising awareness of our many eco challenges. The flexibility of this exhibition model and the thematic elements present in many of the artists’ work further support the eco mantra.
